The eligibility for membership in the TARA association is open to any individual qualified as a Radiographer, Radiotherapist, Sonographer, or Nuclear Medicine Technologist. They must hold a degree, diploma, or certificate issued by recognized Radiographic and Imaging Training Institutions accepted by the Government of Tanzania, and be registered with the MRIPC.
Students undergoing training in Radiography, Radiotherapy, Sonography, or Nuclear Medicine and individuals recognized by the Executive Committee for their dedicated efforts in advancing Radiography.
Those members listed and their names being submit to Registrar of Societies during registration of the Association
Qualified Professionals accepted upon application approval and payment of dues, as per TARA constitution
Appointed by the Executive as the recognition of their outstanding contribution to the Association.

- To participate in conferences, annual general meetings and other forms of official gatherings with discount fees.
- To participate in nomination of members to the Association and election of office bearers.
- To exercise voting powers on any motion during Association meetings.
- To initiate dialogue for change of constitution and/or Bylaws.
- To undertake any activity on behalf of the Association if and when requested to do so by General Meeting or Executive Meeting on behalf of the Association.
- To make any suggestion that improves the conduct and standing of the Association.
